The hotel's location was excellent for visiting the Grand Canyon, and it was easy to find. The rooms were not as pictured and were sub-standard, which made the stay fair overall but not worth the money. The service was a mix of very nice and friendly but also overworked and unhappy at times. The dining options were so-so, and there were no nearby stores easily accessible. Despite that, the hotel was great for a trip to the Grand Canyon, providing a good restaurant and being close to Tusayan for more dining choices.

This bunkhouse hotel is a super cute and cabin-y accommodation really close to the Grand Canyon, offering good water pressure in the shower. Unfortunately, there was no microwave, the mini fridge was very small, and the room had a damaged window screen and malfunctioning A/C.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were big, clean, and very comfortable, but I had trouble opening the door multiple times, and the location across the road from reception felt rustic. The staff was incredibly kind and went out of their way to assist, but there were some issues with the service, especially during rush hours. The location, although convenient, seemed out of the way initially. The dining was good, with the added bonus of being close to a great bar with cheap food. Facilities were a la carte, and overall, my experience was a mix of highs and lows.

The hotel is secluded, far from the main amenities, and the room setup felt cramped, similar to a Japanese business hotel. On the bright side, it offers a coffee machine in the room.

The hotel offered a mix of character and comfort in its spacious rooms, though initial impressions were lackluster. The service was a hit-and-miss with both helpful and rude encounters but managed our needs well, considering the great value near the Grand Canyon. Location-wise, it was convenient for exploring the area despite being further than expected. The dining options were satisfactory and reasonably priced. Overall, a decent stay with some highs and lows.

The hotel had a unique Far West air with very sufficient rooms for our needs, though they felt cramped. It was quite a trek from the reception, pool, and restaurant which was a bit inconvenient. However, the all-wood decor added to the charm of the place.

The hotel is moderately comfortable with some drawbacks. The location is good but can be quite isolated. Service is a mix of helpfulness and rudeness. The dining options are limited but relatively affordable.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a side building, 5 minutes walking from the main area. The room was cold with a noisy AC. It was extremely cold from the front door into the room, which made us keep the heater on the whole night.
Service
5.0
The service was a mix; some staff were nice and helpful, but one person was quite rude when we initially talked to her about canceling the second night. It felt like dealing with an unhelpful, nearly impossible-to-reach old-fashioned gas station attendant with classic cars on display.
Location
7.0
The location was beautiful but quite far from attractions. It was nearly 'in the middle of nowhere,' which caused discomfort after a long trip. It was relatively close to the Grand Canyon, but too far with children after a long journey.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was extensive but expensive and not great tasting. The diner had limited options and didn't offer the best value for the money.
Facilities
6.0

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had great Western decor and were very spacious, ideal for a trip to the Grand Canyon, but they were a bit stuffy. The service from the restaurant staff was nice and accommodating, always ready to fulfill even basic requests. The location, while decently close to the Grand Canyon and other attractions like Williams and Flagstaff, lacked the convenience of being even closer without the high prices. The dining options were varied and satisfactory, though not exceptional. Overall, a stay with its highs and lows.

The hotel rooms, although a bit dated, were still nice and comfortable. However, they require some repairs. Our room was in the motel across the street, quite far from the lobby and swimming pool. The service was friendly and helpful, although a bit straightforward at times. The location, close to Grand Canyon but far, had a historical touch to Route 66. The dining experience had hidden costs and seemed a bit pricey. The facilities were decent overall.
